Dude at 55(or any age really) you're an inspiration, congrats man!!
Fantastic. So I’m 55 it is what it is. I took 10 years off. I did 33 shows in my past and ai decided to do a show (for my 5 year old daughter to show her discipline if you put your everything in it you will achieve whatever you do)over the weekend last weekend up in Dallas. I took 4 1st Pl. and two out of four overalls I lost to the same kid and open bodybuilding and open classic physique that’s something new for me. I’ve lost the 26 pounds of muscle I used to compete with And I no longer carry that so I’m not as big as I used to be, but I had fun, but I want to share some pictures with y’all
And I’ll get ready for this branch Warren show June 29 In My home town
Very kind words and your right about what you sayYeah this. 200lbs shredded on stage is massive in the real world. As serious lifters we see the Ronnie Coleman's and jay cutlers and compare ours selves to the the largest freaks in the world. Regardless of what size you lost. I bet you are healthier and we all got to quit playing the size game at some point. Being there for your family is more important then 26 lbs of muscle. Also I doubt the pictures do you justice. I know what 200lbs of stage weight looks like in person and that is very large in almost any gym. Looks like you had fun. Plus to your daughter and her friends I'm sure they think you look like a marvel super hero.
Thank you bruthaIncredible physique!
TFantastic.

Inspiring and impressive through and through, brother! What a great testament to discipline, fortitude, and rigor. Most importantly.....what testament of love for your daughter to leverage the experience as both a learning opportunity while sharing the excitement and appreciation of victory. 55 years young! Congrats dude!So I’m 55 it is what it is. I took 10 years off. The fact you did this for your daughter is amazing! I applaud you for being an excellent father role model in her life in such a way. I totally agree with you. Competing is about discipline. This discipline is what we all exercise in our daily lives that keeps us focused. I owe my athleticism and bodybuilding for keeping me focused in life or keeping me away from bad elements. I feel if it were not for bodybuilding. My life would have been completely different. So I’m 55 it is what it is. I took 10 years off. Yes that pic was on my birthday and I knew I was going to start 16 weeks out and I did200 pounds shredded like that is very impressive at any age. At 55, it's a whole other level. Nicely done!
Also, if you started your prep in Jan 2924, you were able to dial it in quickly and hold onto your muscle.
