What are the categories NPC/IFBB judges are scoring on a scorecard? This was something I had to learn the hard way. I thought big won the show but that was definitely my mistake in the beginning. It wasn't until I asked questions and had the time to work as a guest judge to learn what the judges were looking for. This contributed to my ranking as I started to move up places. Number 1 was conditioning out of 5 categories on a score card that I can remember. A lot of competitors starting out don't know this.

You are supposed to be judged on size, shape, and symmetry.

If Carlos Thomas Jr. came to your town and did an amateur show and he came in 8 weeks out conditioning, I will bet you no matter how ripped the local amateur town hero is he will lose to CTJ.

I appreciate your input b-boy. There is a saying "Conditioning wins the show". Size, Shape, and Symmetry are not the only reasons. I look forward to a judge to chime in what a scorecard actually says.
