What is trashing my joints all of a sudden?

How long have you been on your current protocol. food, training supps, drugs etc. ?
I would not take drugs even over the counter ones to mask pain just to get through a workout. From my experience that just compounds the problem in the long run.

Might be worth scheduling some time with a rheumatologist just to be safe

Aside from usual things like AI overuse, dehydration, excessive load bearing; sudden onset of joint issues can be something that requires more expertise
First thing I thought of too. Maybe rheumatoid arthritis or something like lupus. This type of thing happen as we get older.

How's it going gentlemen, could use some input here. All of a sudden my joints are a mess I can barely squat or lunge which has never been an issue before, my knees feel like they are going to explode.....sure I'm older than ever but this is very sudden and it's not just my knees it's all my joints at once so I wouldn't pin it on that.

Here is my current list of what I'm using:

200mg cyp per week
3.3iu GH per day

Dutasteride

Orange triad multi
Berberine
Probiotic
Fiber Powder
J-Flex 9 (joint supplement!)
Taurine
Catalase
Tudca
NAC
Krill Oil
Ubiquinol
Evening Primrose Oil
Pycnogenol
Collagen with Hylauronic Acid Powder

Can anyone point to anything on this list which may be causing this? Most I've taken for many years, the ones I can say are newer are the J-flex 9, catalase, pyconogenol and NAC but hell those are supposed to help with joints! Maybe something is interacting with something else I'm not sure but it's getting pretty frustrating that all of a sudden I have the joints of an old man that can barely move, something specific is causing it.

Thanks fellas
For starters, Quit taking an ai for trt. Secondly, take a break from the gym. Your body might just be tired.it does happen

@thethinker48 I think I will do that just in case thank you

@Siggy If it happened gradually and it was just my knees I would agree that it's just age but it was very sudden and it's ALL my joints it seems, I'm 40.

@Elvia1023 I had used the duta for years with no issue and stopped for about a year and got back on it a few months ago so that could be the culprit for sure, I am dropping it to see what happens. Never had an issue with clubbed hands or anything like that with GH, I've used it for years but doesn't hurt to drop it and see what happens.

Interesting in regards to the infection, last two blood tests I have done have showed a highly elevated level of neutrophils and I'm currently working with a gastro and about to see a hematologist try and figure it out. That could definitely be it there thank you for that info!

@3BILLS Been on these doses for months, before and after it started.

@buck other than the new stuff which actually helps with joints I've been pretty consistent.

@Alzadosghost not on any AI's and I had a couple weeks off when I was dog sick in late September. That counts right?

I'm zeroing in on the dutasteride and possible infection being the culprit here, also going to go see a rheumatologist just in case. Thank you fella as I sincerely appreciate all the replies!

Get a complete blood panel. Check estrogen, cortisol, and sodium to name a few. CBC panel could detect if you have an infection.

Get bloodwork with HSCRP, CBC and if you want to jump start on testing for anything autoimmune run an ANA panel.

Your body is likely just inflamed and needs to truly heal. Time forced off from being sick is not the same as time off because your body is fatigued and inflamed.

It’s easy to think the two are equal, but the reality is when you jump straight back into training hard after being sick, you are in a fragile state.

Cut back on gym volume and days in the gym, do a mini cut and keep your food clean, and get your steps outside up (10-15k daily) and drop machine cardio for a week or two. Most importantly push sleep- quality sleep.

It’s amazing what you can accomplish when we “truly” let the body heal.

Go see a doctor. When I get hurt and/or sick and take a week off all of my past injuries pop up.. I feel better by staying active and training so time off might not help. Also taking time off to heal might just prolong you from going to a doctor and figuring out if you have a real issue. It could be a lot of things. You will be upset if you take time off and go back and your joints are still giving you an issue. Also if you then go to a doctor and they say you should have come in sooner.

Bro, proper advice isn't coming from the members here, probably not coming from your dr either. Once you have complications while using hormones, good luck!

I'm in my 60s and if I don't eat clean my joint kill. It could be sensitivities to food additives in something you eat. When that happens to me I go back to my 12 foods that never give me problems and 9/10 times that fixes it in a couple weeks.

Considering he’s on 200 test and no ai, I’d say the chances this is related to e2 are pretty much 0.
Well, you won't know until getting test results.

Myself, currently running the following weekly cycle:
Test Cyp - 1750mg
Mast-Prop - 350mg
Bold EQ - 700mg
Trest/Ment - 280mg

Just got back my E2 test results.... 12.4 and my joints are sore.

Everyone reacts differently to all compounds. And when my E2 drops, my joint pain kicks in overnight.

This is with no AI?

I just sat on the toilet a little too long and when I stood up my back hurt. You guise think my estrogen is low? Is estrogen affected by bowel movements?
Estrogens burned my house to the ground , kidnapped my chinchilla and raped my air frier.

Are you currently dieting and in a daily caloric deficit? When I train while dieting it plays hell with my rotator cuffs if I don't back off the amount of weight I use. One way to check for this would be to carb up and stay well hydrated the day before you do leg training, and eat pre-workout carbs.

I am actually and I was also thinking that is the culprit. I dropped everything other than the test replacement dose and also the diet so if my joints get better I'll be able to add things slowly to pinpoint what the issue is as nothing seems obvious.

The most glaring culprit would be a possible infection, I have an endoscopy tomorrow and an appointment with a hematologist next week.

Really would like to get this pinned down because I couldn't even do light front squats without feeling like my knees were grinding bone on bone. I've been relegated to doing leg lifts and calf's.

I'll report back either way, maybe it will help the next donkey.

Have you tried any NSAIDS, aleve or ibuprofen?
