I wonder the true extent of his health problems for him to pack it in. A lot of guys wouldn’t of, respect for knowing when to stop before it’s too late.

A bit misleading...that pic is from early July 2017. He's bigger now..that's around when he was his lightest. He got as low as 228.

He had an infection, an internal tear in his colon, some adverse reactions to meds after that was fixed, shoulder issues, a labrum tear, and a deviated septum.

I don't know if he's coming back or not but I hope he is happy and healthy.

Or he just got bigger.

A lot of people say this about pros: "Look at his face; he only put on another 100 lbs of muscle on his frame, but my god the face!!".

Your face including your jaw has muscles that will hypertrophy too. How weird would a 250 lb bodybuilder look with a Calvin Klein model's face...:eek:

P.S- The nose we can blame on Uncle Growth Hormone :)

Watching his youtube meal prep and training videos...pretty basic.
Othen then leg day, he really doesn't train all that heavy but the mass he packs on is impressive. Genetics!
Is there any info out there as to what his cycles & doses are like? It appears he was compared to Dallas alot. I'm guessing his passing (not withstanding his health issues) also played into his complete break from the gym for 5 months. Looks like he's coming back though. Muscle memory is an amazing thing.

I probably watched 12-15 of his training videos yesterday (way too much time on my hands) and while he's VERY strict with form...I'm not seeing the super heavy Dallas McCarver or the Johnnie Jackson stuff that seems to = THICK! Post em up, maybe I'm just not seeing them?

well JOJ was a powerlifter.. I don't know if that's a fair comparison



Dallas felt the need to lift really heavy especially on back, because it was a nagging weak point of his.




he did deadlift 675, and put up good numbers on shoulder press and HS incline chest press, etc.



his genetics and genetic response to training gave him excellent results with the amount of weight that he did lift... so need to really, really push it and risk injury..


kinda like Phil Heath.. he lifts pretty damn heavy, but not in a foolish way.
