I thought you meant to say infatigo... I wasn't suggesting that is what he has...but An intertrigo sometimes refers to a bacterial, fungal, or viral infection that has developed at the site of broken skin due to such inflammation. They are two different issues.

Is an inflammation so a cream that addresses that is needed...LOL. Look at how its caused and what its symptoms are. Contrast that with infantigo which is what you claim:

Again, shes a dermatologist, and unless anyone else on this thread is as well, she probably knows more about this shit than anyone else here. Feel free to treat it as you wish however.
So your Girl also thinks it is probably a fungal infection as well... and cortisone creams( corticosteroid) would not cure it....
Now..like I first said... you need an anti-fungal cream..
don't need a Doctorate degree to figure that out....LOL
One rule of thumb is if a wound is wet...keep it dry...If the wound is dry...keep it moist...understand?
But fungal infections are not wounds...if you look at a fungal infection under a high powered microscope you will see what is called hyphae. They look like llittle plants and that is what fungus is..a plant. You can also use a black light or a woods lamp as its called in medicine and you can see the demarcated "ring" where the fungus is.
