Byrd is a solid boxer but punches like a middleweight. He's also extremely boring to watch. I'd like to see Klitschko win and clean up the division.

there is nothing like a bigtime boxing match, like Lewis vs. Klitschko, or Tyson, IMO!! But i got the UFC fights last weekend and I am getting hooked on them also...

I think boxing pales in comparison to MMA events like Pride and UFC.

MMA has really soured me to traditional boxing. In fact, I used to love boxing until I got into MMA and UFC events. Anyhow, what a beating Klit delivered to Byrd. 5th round - to the canvas, then again in the 7th round until Byrd was a bloody mess. I was too bored to see the actual "punch-stats", but did Byrd land any more than 10 punches all fight?!?

Byrd didn't land any meaningfull punches, Big K fought a perfect strategic fight. Lewis told him what to do and he did exactly that. Byrd ate the jab all night, until those big rights came along.

no shit. I enjoy watching klitchko though. Both of those guys are class acts too. Bird was not to exciting, never has been. Always been a defensive fighter that guys had trouble landing on (except this fight hehe)

Ok entertaining to watch Byrd get killed but proves nothing

The one thing I noticed is that Byrd is 213lds fuck I am 213lbs that is really small to be fighting a guy 6'6 240

Can Klitscho take a punch who knows Byrd doesn't have one

Put him in against that Russian guy who just one a title from the black american who has beaten Klitschko before then you will have a fight

From what I understand Byrd didnt have to fight klitschko, but he chose to. Hell if I was Klitschko I would have fought him for a quick couple million. It was still funny to see Byrd get his ass handed to him, even though it was a total mis-match! -StOrY
