Anyone know where I could send a tab to see if it is legit??

I had a person make some stuf and I want to test how much stuff is really in it. IF this is out of line, please let me know, and delete it??

I believe that many are getting gear tested at San Rafael Labs in Utah. It's not cheap!

You can test it at home for a couple of bucks.

Here is what you do.

Say you have some 50mg tabs you want to test.

Take 10 tabs and dissolve them in pure Methanol. (Methanol is sold in auto parts stores as gas line antifreeze.)

When you dissolve the tabs the drug will be soluble in the methanol but the binder/filler will not so it will quickly settle out to the bottom.

Draw out of the vial all of the methanol/drug solution leaving the binder/filler behind in the bottom of the vial.

put the methanol soution into another vial and SLOWLY(few drops at a time) add distilled water to the methanol solution.

The water will mix with the methanol making the drug crystalize and fall out of the solution.

Pour the contents of the crstalized suspension out into a glass cooking plate and let the water and methanol evaporate. DO NOT USE HEAT OR OPEN FLAME BECAUSE METHANOL IS VERY FLAMABLE!
(If you are in a hurry you can coffee filter at this step but your yield will not be as accurate.)

Once the water and methanol are evaporated you will be left with the pure crystals of the drug in the tab.

Then simply weigh the powder and do the math to see if they are dosed right.

10- 50mg tabs will weigh 1/2 gram.

Yup KC, that's the instructions for selective recrystalization...For those that are interested, that's one approach to separating Trenbolone Acetate out of Finaplix pellets, thus eliminating the binders (methyl cellulose in that case).

KC, do you know a way to home test injectibles, to see if there is real androgens in a given oil based solution? Would love to hear your thoughts on this one bro!

There are some oil based injectables that you can put in the freezer and see if the hormone drops out of solution but this typically only works with compounds that have high melting points and low oil solubility.

Let me think on this one for a bit and maybe I can come up with something that will work for all oil soluble hormones that the at home chemist can do cheaply.
