i really really want to try these but i have noticed they contain glycerin ,unfortunately this gives me diaria .

is there any way i can counteract this ?

i seem very sensitive to it in the fact that i cant take soft gels that contain it without it going straight through me :(

does anyone else experience this ?

I know if I haven't used them in a while that they will give me the shits if If i take to much to fast. I like them alot during the summer when its hot and I don't feel like eating , jujst ad some to my water and i get extra protein without adding anything else to my gut

maybe start realy low and see what they do , then slowly work your way up. generaly take me about a week before I can get 12-15 ounces a day down
 
am i correct in thinking there are 5grams glycerin per tbsp ?
 
Are these aminos or complete protiens?

I too have a similar problem with Glycerine.

If I take too many capsules in a day, I could run into issues.

When I started using LBAs, I was using maybe 6 tbls in 2 separate servings (3 each)... after a day or 2, I had to run to the bathroom.

It cleared everything out of me. It was rather disgusting.

I then cut bask to 3tbls once a day, and still the same. Then I went to none.

I took some time off and tried again, adding 1 tbls to my protein shakes here and there.

Then all of a sudden I was using 4tbls at a time with no issues whatsoever. Basically it was as if my body got used to it.

I can still take the LBA's without issue.

I would recommend trying 1 tablespoon a day and no more and see how that works. I have heard of others having the same issue and over a little bit of time everything worked out.

I also take a fiber supplement each day, and I was taking it around the same time I would use LBA's, and I'm not sure if that helped too, but it may have.

i will do as you suggest hopefully i may be able to build a tolerance to it .

ive realised that all sugar alcohols dissagree with me but i have never persisted

i am guessing that softgels would only have a very small amount in them ?which would suggest i am pretty damn sensitive .

is what should work, like anything else you need to start small and work your way up to the desired dose, gradually day by day or even week by week work your amount up.
 
Two Idea's...

I agree with the working up scenario.

One additional thought- simply having enough water with them (12-16 oz) should take care of it.... maybe :)
 
Today I can just eat LBA's if I want to... the early times were rough.

When I get a sugary urge... I will take the Chocolate LBA's and mix them in nonfat Milk, Coconut Milk, or Almond Milk (regular nonfat milk is best), and have a chocolate milk.

It actually reminds me of putting Hershey's Chocolate Syrup into milk as a kid.

I just ordered some of the coconut flavored ones... we shall see how that is.
