Yeah these totally disappeared off the map. There were even some knock offs you could find at vitamin shoppe and other places but any form of liquid aminos is gone now.

I’ve made them using the recipe listed. Some personal notes, cut everything in half and use a mixer. I used the amounts listed and it overflowed the mixer. Also make sure to use plenty of water, mine was thick and had to microwave every time before using… hope that helps someone before spending the money to make it

I think they aren't commercially made anymore due to them not being cost effective to make while meeting regulation standards for the retail market. I know that Dante mentioned discontinuing them because, and I summarize, they were a pain in the ass to make while meeting FDA requirements.

Love the chocolate over my oatmeal with blueberries. It was like a dessert.

I remember using the All American EFX liquid protein Phil told me about before LBAs was a big deal, then LBAs went to hell in a hand basket for awhile, made my own for awhile, thanks to Dante, never bought from PitBullTank though, what happened to that guy? also was a big fan of the Genesis Today Protein 100 and Pro-Stat back about ten years ago

but nowadays, mehhh I can live without it, so long as I've got the amino tabs like Humapro, Beverly Mass, etc. etc.

When you made yours what type of glycerin did you use.??
Like regular liquid vegetable glycerine??

I bought- several bottles from PitBullTank a few years ago, gave me a killer deal for whatever reason, I actually still have a few left because I quit making the LBAs, he told me it's USP Food Grade vegetable glycerine

Why did these fall so out of favor and literally disappear? Even vitamin shoppe and gnc used to have some generic brands of liquid beef aminos.

I know True Nutrition stopped because the process of making them vs sales was prohibitive.
I'm going under the assumption that process requirements to make them on a small scale was also prohibitive.
FDA and local health departments can be a real bitch to comply with.
