Healthiest oils for home cooking/frying - seed oil, beef fat, olive oil, etc

Have you found a coconut oil spray (or avocado oil) that actually has propellant and sprays well for the life of the entire can?

My issue with every avocado oil spray is that they don't contain the same propellant which, wrong or right, I'm not trying to avoid. But that means the spray / spread is awful, and after using maybe a third of the can, it's narrowed to a stream that'll add 5-10g of fat to the pan by the time it's coated.
I use spectrum coconut oil spray. About half way through I have to use a small paperclip to ensure the spray hole flows properly. It’s about the only way I’ve found to keep it consistent.

Was looking around for beef tallow opinions before starting a thread and came up on this.

Man I am really not cool with propellants. Not only do they tend to ruin pans, but for some reason consuming silicone does not sound wise.

The cheapest and healthiest option I have come across:

I was intrigued with the post title, so I clicked.

Then I stopped reading after the first sentence.

I'm not trying to be ass.

Perhaps add a few paragraphs next time.

It's an eye sore
Get your eyes check then! It's not that bad

I've heard those gum up and clog easily, maybe that is not true though. Have you ever tried just putting a little oil in the pan and spreading it around with a paper towel?

Yeah paper towel works. Primary reason I got the spray bottle over a year ago was to spray on popcorn so seasoning would stick. Continously buying nice oil spray was just not cost effective. Have not had issues with gumming at all.

man that really borders on overthinking but yeah, paper towel works xD
spray bottle works too.
before I had a spray bottle I would use a spatula with a flat top or the meat I was going to fry itself.
you could even use your hand in an emergency situation.

1759772858997.png We get these at costco and they have never clogged. They DO come out very fast, last time I checked it's over 2g/second so that can add up if your not careful. As for the coconut oil spray, run the nozzle under hot water for a few seconds to clear the oil that has solidified choking the stream.

I hadn't thought about the oil being solidified...that would make sense, especially given how cold we keep our house.

But that is the brand I'd bought before and found disappointing. Maybe I'll give it one more go and see if that was really the only issue.

These are exactly why I got a spray bottle. Got expensive real fast

We have been using them for a couple years now and they have changed a bit over that time. They have gone with a couple different nozzles and the current one works well. Like I said though they come out like gang busters so you have to be ready, especially with a new bottle. They do not contain any propellant which is nice as you can do the math on how much oil you are really getting as NO ONE is using the asinine 1/10900000000000 of a second spray that all these sprays use as a "Serving Size" to get under the .5g/serving making them "0 Grams of Fat," and, (zero calorie,) complete BS.

So we have 1,532 "servings" at .25g a serving, which is a 1/4 second spray so get out those stop watches ladies and gents! Well since we know it has nothing in there other than oil and compressed air(which does weight something but it's negligible.)

.25 x 1532 = 383g

383 x 9= 3447 calories total in that bottle

15(grams/ml in a tablespoon) / .25 = 60
1532 / 60 = about 25 tablespoons of avocado oil OR

25 x 3 = 75 teaspoons

My girl and I have used this Avocado Oil spray with no issues. She loves the convenience of it.
