Is there any good supplement to take while waiting on order to arrive.. I stopped taking a lot of store bought supplements , in preperation of my first cycle arriving.. well it is taking little longer than expected , which is fine, I am waiting patiently.. but the problem I have is I don't have the same focus and drive I usually have.. im still having great workout, but I don't get the killer instinct until mid ways through or sometimes I don't get it at all and feel like I am just going through the motions.. it is pissing me off with the lost feeling.. but I don't want to take certain supplements if I have to postpone cycle when it finally arrives
 
your mindfucking yourself. take 2 days off, watch some bbing vids, go out to a nice dinner, leave lifting out of your life for 2 days. when you go back ask yourself if this cycle is a good idea anyway.....your already having trouble dealing with being off of store bought supps, the affect of steroids will be 10 fold at least. the cycle will end, what wont end is the need for you to work hard. when you come off everything will be twice as hard, be ready to deal with that. ask your self one question. how bad do i really want to look like a bodybuilder? your answer, if your totally honest with yourself, will either motivate the living hell out of you or help you realize it realy isnt that big of a priority. in the case of the latter, figure out what will make you truly happy and go do that. (thats not a bash, i know it comes off harsh but its kind of tough to get inflection over the internet...lol)

no I understand completely what you are saying... I eat and breathe bodybuilding.. I have always ate clean, took everything supplement wise that kept me clicking on all cylinders.. this has to be the first time in 5 years I haven't atleast taken something.. and I think I am just just not used to following a supplement schedule.. I have always been methodical with everything.. down to supplements and what pace I keep in gym...

Great advice. Then take some ECA an hour before you are motivated to hit the gym :)
 
Sharks you gotta clear your head dude....im on work burnout right now. the supplements didnt give you your drive...you did that. forget regiment for a while instead go like a silverback gorilla. change up your training program. when im off i dont use ANYTHING other than vitamens and LBA's no caffine, no eca...nothing. my drive comes from fear of not being the best... im not but it keeps me working for it. dude everything you accomplished to this point isnt because of supps it because of determination...its all you. every day beofre i lift,yeah i know this is corny, i sit in my car for 5 min staring at myself in the mirror, disappointed in how i look, and decide that if i dont do something about it today tomorrow might not come. you can get in ther and get the job done without anything but your balls and your lifting straps. go do it.

when your in the gym forget about the weights and just try and get that pumped feeling in your muscles. When I forget about the poundages I usually always have a good workout. Dont try and go for a new record all the time, try and go for a good feeling. You may find that not only do you get motivated once again, but as soon as you forget the weight and focus more on the movement you'll begin growing again.
 
good advice in this thread.

It's good to take a week off from the gym every six months or so as well. when I do, it clears my head and gives my body an extended rest. Then when I go back to the gym I have a renewed sense of motivation.

It's good to "want it", and live, breathe, and do bodybuilding 24/7, and inhale the lifestyle. Nothing wrong with that.

It's also good to step back from it, let it go, and forget all about the gym for one week IMO. Not only does the body need rest from workouts, so does the mind.
