Can suppression of natural test cause a low white blood cell count? I just got bloodwork done and needed antibiotics for an infection, the doctor was a little concerned at my WBC count.

I just started a tbol/prop cycle 9 days ago and wanted to see how the tbol felt before adding prop, so I ran the tbol @ 40mg, by itself, for 7-8 days. I am wondering if I started to suppress enough of my natural test and, possibly estrogen too, to cause a low white blood cell count? Or does low test/estrogen/both not cause this?

There are several diffent types of white blood cells. A complete white blood count won't identify what the cause is, you need to know the differential to determine the cause. There are many causes for low white blood count, most aren't serious issues but some are. If they are slightly lower than "normal" range then it is probably nothing serious.

Typically if you have an infection you would have an elevated WBC as that is what helps fight the infection. I know steroid use will elevate red blood count but I don't know how it effects WBC. WBC can be effected by thyroid hormone and some steroids, especially tren will effect thyroid levels and uptake. That's about all I have for ya. I'm assuming the doctor is going to run some more test and then you will know what's going on.

i went to the doctor becasue i was feeling pretty sick...and they determined i had an infection in my brochial tubes and i was just getting over a nasty stomach virus....the doctor sounded concerned that the WBC count was low, ahe said if it was in the normal range then that would be low, but being low and being sick was probably why i wasnt getting any better. No other tests are being done in conjuction with that, prbably because i dont have health insurance. thanks for the input
