mail problem

I had some prop amps delivered yesterdayby registered mail. When I got home I found them lying on my doorstep opened sticking out of the package, eight broke and leaking. I never even signed for it. Wondering what you guys think about this. I would assume the mailman opened it when it was leaking. Wonder if hes required to report anything he is forced to open..

That's an interesting situation. Registered mail you are required to sign and you didn't sign, so you could always play the line that you never got it. Chances are he probably wouldn't know what was in the box anyways, but it probably wouldn't hurt to get the stuff out of your house for a few days just to be safe. Good luck.

wow this is different, I have to say I dont think your mail man opened it, thats so rare for a mail man to ever get too curious and open his packages.. and as far as anyone in between your source and yourself opening, you would think they would atleast tape it back up?? I have to guess some how during the shipping it tore open through the shpping process I got a package recently and it was really tore up with a hole in it, was nothign special so it didnt matter anyway. I think your going to have to just forget concluding what happened with this one, and just be cautious and safe in the mean time.
