I remember a back training photo shoot in Flex magazine-

It was one of those buddy training things. Dorian Yates and Mike Francois were doing back together. It was great. Mike looked awesome. I think he could have been a Mr. Olympia.

Really like the choice of the song and routine. Was a perfect match for him and flowed very smoothly.

Agreed i met him in the crowd of the 1989(i believe) Nationals in Miami at the Fountainbleu Hotel. He was a beast. New then he go far. It was the year Troy Z won. I worked the show. I was just a kid and those guys seemed surreal. Our gym (Paradise Gym) was a major sponsor.

my favorite

my favorite bodybuilder! he had it all, the funny thing when i watch that video is that mike did not have shredded glutes, a must have these days, but he would make any current super heavyweight at the national level his bitch...LOL he had deep seperation between his muscle's and was dry but not shredded glutes, O MY what would the experts say if he walked out on stage in 2010 looking like that...LOL I can hear palumbo's retarded ass right now on the play by play. "mike francois... big, hard, but needs to get those glutes shredded"...LOL what a joke, he would smoke anyone at the national level looking like he did in that youtube video but i swear someone doing a play by play would actually say something retarded like that..

THE MAN WAS DAMN NEAR PERFECT!

There were guys from that era that to this day would crush people on stage. Him, Newman, Hernon, Demayo, Patterson-could have been something special if he would have stuck to bodybuilding

Absolutely perfect physique!

I'm probably going to get stoned to death for saying this, but I hate the shredded glute look.

I remember reading about Francois's insane training regimen back in the day. IIR, he would do up to 60 or more sets per bodypart!
