Are you talking buying or renting? If you are talking buying the prices are pretty high, but in comparison for what people are paying in the cities IE MELBOURNE, SYDNEY, BRSIBANE etc the prices for what you get are low. But on the increase all the time. Average house price is around 400,000. Rentals are around 300 p/week on average. There are still some vacant blocks around for a reasonable price. C'mon down brother! You'd love it here. I only ever had to wear a sweatshirt through winter here. Not cold at all.

Now guys the snake thing is not an everyday occurance here OK! But we do have em.
