I saw the Sweet 16 show and seriously puked in my mouth in utter disgust! WTF?! My 16th birthday I was happy to get a cake and a few gifts! READ this article, the guy hits this on the head perfectly, then read some of the responses.

If any of you guys watch (or watched) this show, I'm sorry you (as well as myself) wasted that time in our lives.

It's bad how unashamed people can be. I recently saw an episode and the two 16 year old girls were buying jewelry for about 300.000 USD combined and said 'I'm sure we're going to be wearing the most expensive jewelry at the party tonight'

I watch a lot of there shows. Mainly because they have young hot people on them That 16 show is a bit over the top, kids with money to burn and parents that let them....

EXACTLY!!! I have to turn that stupid show off. Those kids are rotten and just make me sick to my stomach...

Now on the other hand MTV True Life has some pretty provacative shows and some are stupid...I watched True Life I have turrets syndrome, that was pretty informative and mad me a ppreciate not having a disease like that to deal with.....
