My Father Died Last Night

After a week long battle with a deadly colon infection , my father passed away last night at around 7 p.m. As anyone can probably imagine, I'm full of so many different emotions, I dont know whether I'm coming or going right now. I just lost my mother 2 yrs ago and I've never really healed from losing her yet. My father was a GREAT, GREAT man and I'm going to miss him dearly. I'm going to be in and out for the next few days spending time with family and taking care of all my fathers arrangements. If anyone needs to contact me, I'll be checking my emails/pm's in the evenings.

my sincerest reguards my friend, i know how you feel i lost a good friend, probably no where as close as your father was. It is hard to deal with something like this, just keep your head up and know that hes happy now, no more fighting, hes in paradise. Things dont always make sense but you have to trust that God knows what hes doing. Once again im sorry and i will pray for you and your family.

Bro I am so sorry! I can related because my dad has been in the hospital in Coma since Jan 1st. He had a perferated ulcer in his small intestine. When it ruptured every organ in his body shut down. Renal failure, respiratory failure, metabolic encepholopoly. and brain swelling. Not good. Anyway, may his spirit live with in you always.

I know your loss brotha... I too lost my father 6 years ago and I HAVE NEVER BEEN THE SAME SINCE... He was my best friend and when he passed on he took with him a large part of me... The only difference would be that I didnt get to tell him goodbye as he was what we all thought in good health and working when he died... I can say as Im sure you know by the loss of your mom that you can live with it but YOU WILL NEVER GET OVER IT...

Sorry bro... It really upsets me to see when bros loose their parents..

I am very sadened by your loss my friend. This hits home all too close .[ having just lost a cousin and my sister alittle over a month ago - as well as my neice trying to kill herself after her mom died - and she nearly succeeded too.] I can relate to everything that you have been expirencing and then some. There is not much that one can say ,but with time it does eventually get somewhat easier.........Take care of yourself and your family.........if you need someone to talk to or I can help in anyway .....feel free to PM me ,OK? I don't know you , but the little that I do know of you ,I both like and respect. I am sure many of your best qualities that you pocess were passed on to you by your parents.......So in a way your parents will continue to live in way long after their passing........Now it is time to pass the good that they passed to you to the many others that are part of your life........so in a way your parents will live forever and continue to have impact on this earth, even after you are gone. So be thankful for the time that you had and think about what I said. Take your time to heal and be there for your family........Once again ,I am very sorry for your loss.......
