1 cup whole grain cornmeal medium grind
1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
half tablespoon of salt
4 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
1 cup milk
1 quarter cup butter or margarine
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder your choice
Sift the dry ingredients together including protein, add egg, butter and milk, beat until mixed with a almost cookie dough texture, this only takes a minute. spread it lightly into a greased bread pan about 4 inches by 8 inches. and BAKE at 425 F for between 20-25 mins. make sure to check with a fork or a toothpick for consistancy at about 20 mins.
this recipe yielded 840 calories, 56 grams protein, 26 grams of fibre, a whole bunch of carbs and who care about the fat content, Im bulkin up!
