My home town friend quits job to fight full time

I am so excited that I had to post a thread in dedication to my very good friend from my hometown. He has been living in Aspen and spending every free spare moment fighting in any pick up UFC style local show he could find. The wife and I have been to most of them and his most recent was on national TV. I have posted about him before but he called me tonight to tell me he has quit his job and is moving back home to train and fight full time! He has been picked up by enough sponsors to do it and promise all of you, you will see him on the pro level very very soon. He is going to tie land to train in martial arts to combine with his wrestling experience. I could go on forever about him but Ill keep it until later.
I just wanted to share with you all…..especially those who are interested in UFC. PM me if you want info about him.

in fact, most of his "idols" are Pride oriented.
He was a four time state champ wrestler here and has used his wrestling to become a formitable fighter. Once an apponent is on the ground...its over! He also has an intensity that I have yet to see on ANY level amature or pro. His last fight, he was winning, but the guy was a muay tai trained fighter and slipped a fast arm bar on him. So he has decided to train in these areas to expand his abilities.

just send his ass to chute boxe to train with silva and his crew...that'd be a hell of an experiece!

yea when i used to train i knew of a group of karate guys that went to the philippines (i think) to see how good they really were....like 13 out of the 14 came back with broken arms from trying to block kicks to their heads. it was crucial!

just tell him to soak it all in.....and dont get hurt!

Pride is done. I mean have most of the top fighters..............BUT they are not making any money. Their PPV buys are low, they have no TV deal. There will be 2-3 major player coming to UFC in the next year. Pride will fold or be sold in 1-2 years tops!

i second that! there for alot of the good fighters r comin to UFC

pride def has more skilled fighters but soon the UFc will have all their skilled fighters

Ill get that for ya, You would recognize it as he fights for UFC. He gave me a lot of information in a short time so I need to ask him about his trainers name.
