Alright fellas, I was just reading up on a fairly recent thread "How long do U guys stay on stimulants?" http://www.professionalmuscle.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34498
which fourthgen started. As I read through, I began to realize that my poor adrenal glands are probably totally shot. You see, I was diagnosed with ADHD (I don't care if you are one of those people who thinks it is a fake condition, lets keep politics out of this) several years ago, and I have been on stimulants for about 3 years. More specifically, I have been on adderall for about 3 years. Last winter I attempted to stop taking it which resulted in me sleeping a lot, but everyday I would still feel restless and crappy. However, this several month break I took from it helped me because now I can take less adderall than before since my tolerance went down.
So, now I take it bascially every day, and believe me, I know it can supress hunger, which is why I take Synthteks B-12 product. But I am getting off topic, so I think I may have blown out my adrenal glands. For instance, when I do not take adderall, after about 3-4 hours since waking up, I begin to feel very lethargic and tired, and my head hurts. Withdrawal sucks. But, once I take it, all of that goes away and I feel great.
Since reading the thread that I previously mentioned, I saw a supplement that recomended, Palo Alto Labs Reset-A.D. I am prepared to buy this supplement pending on reviews from all you guys on the board. Also, would Humanofort be good?
And last but not least, should I go and see a doctor? In about an hour I think I am going to give my father a phone call since he is a doctor. I just dont want to have addison's disease one day.
Any advice in terms of supplementation for this problem?
Thanks guys,
DB
