i am no nutrition expert but have been around a bit. lots of guys take pre workout supps. there are times i might have to skip the meal prior to workout and so liekly have low blood sugar when i arrive at the gym. takes me about 15 minutes to change from work clothes to gym clothes. in this time i suck on 3-4 dextrose tabs (those for diabetics) and sip on protein drink maybe.
i feel the "pre wokrout" necessity is blood suger. so a good pre workout supp if on an empty stomach could be dextrose tabs?
