NASM question.

for those of you who completed the NASM certification i have a question.

my buddy paid for the package that came with the books and all the online stuff and he gave me his info to sign on the site and check out the quizzes and other info.

they have a section where it covers all the important things from the book with online videos if i just watch all those videos and take notes will they be enough to get me through the test without the book?

Depending upon your background that may be enough. Remember, the certifying agencies are raking in the bucks ! Decent organization though. Preferably NSCA for me though

NASM

NASM and ACSM are the absolute best certifications you can have if you are looking into a serious career in the fitness, sports medicine, or rehab industries. I have a Master's degree in Physiology from Eastern Michigan University and these tests still required a lot of study from the books. If you are serious about making the career change you should buy the book. I still use my ASCM handbook daily, especially when dealing with clients taking various medications and pre-existing medical conditions. A B.S degree and NASM or ACSM are the requirements in my clinic.The worst that can happen is that you are better educated about something you love to do.
