Lee banks is a hell of a bodybuilder! I think you meant to title your thread USA's instead of nationals, nationals are in Atlanta, GA and USA's are in Vegas.

I was in Dallas last year and remember Lee. His upper body was so damn dense. I had him in second place with B. Curry winning that class and AD in third but obviously things turned out a bit different. Last years Nat HW class was one of the toughest or maybe the toughest class of that show. The top 8 guys were all guys that had placed high prior.....

If I was a HW doing that show I would have just went back to my hotel room after the weigh ins and called it a day...haha . That class is still stacked and will have the deepest line up in both the Nats and USA this year. At least in my opinion.

Lee banks is one of the most humble bodybuilders I've ever met. I hope he gets his Pro card this year. Plus that would make another hometown Pro Bodybuilder.
Lee's also going to Guest pose at my contest in a few weeks, he has a great flowing physique.

why the north americans? where you gotta win the whole damn show to get the ONE pro card given out If lee doesn't get at least second in his class then where do you think the guy that got second in that weight class is going to be next???? hmmmmm.

I like his chances at nationals a hell of a lot better IF he places in the top 2 at the USA's.

Im doing this show...Here are a couple of pics for ya...

One from 2006 Ironman in Chicago...I was only 220lbs in this show...I won the heavy's but lost the overall by a point to Eric Seng...I actully thought I had him in this show...If I was fuller I think I could have had it...But oh well it's old news now...LOL !!!

Here is a recent pic of me at 6 weeks out and at 235lbs

Last pic is at last years photo shoot with Optimum Nutrition...Right before Junior Nats...

Ironically I ran into Lee Banks Saturday at the Mid Florida Bodybuilding show in Orlando. I spoke with him for a few minutes. He really is a class guy I am sure you are proud to have a nephew that is not only an upper level bodybuilder but a really good guy and credit to our sport. Incidently he looked very impressive and I can't believe I ever stood in the same building with him much less the same stage. Quite humbling to say the least.

I am very proud of him because he is a very humble individual. That show was definitely a very competitive show. You did great and was definitely amongst some good talent.
