Need help with cutting

Hi !


throughout the autmn while I did my (first cycle ever)10 week cycle of test enathe and dbol I've gained 35 lbs with 5% bf gain by following the "growth principles for beginners" by Big A.

Now about 8 weeks later I've lost about 5 lbs since I ended that cycle. I feel a little puffy and would like to reduce my bf from about 16% to something like 10-8%.

I'm planning to do a simple cycle to retain muscle consisting of something like
week 1-10 : prop 150mg eod
week 6-10 : winny 50 mg eod
and clen and eca cycles


But my main concern is how should I modify my training? What kind of workouts would be nice to do these ten weeks, keeping in mind that I followed Big A's modified HIT plan the whole autmn..?!

I tryed doing some regular volume workouts last week, and it felt quite like crap. In the middle of the workouts I would feel totaly exhausted and my strength decreased unnormaly much from set to set of each excersice.

Also what do you think about following diet plans while cutting? Is it neccesary or is just as good to just keep protein high and tune in carbs ?


Hope you can help me out :)

(Also if anyone know of any good articles about cutting I would be pleased)

Everyone has there own idea for a great cutting program. Some like low-mod carbs, some high carb/lowfat, etc, but each one is based on a high/mod protein amount. This is what I do and it works very well. I have money and time to eat like this you may not.


I think for cutting your doses are a tad high, but I dont know you or history for me cutting is about losing fat peserving gains.

Cycle
100mgs PRop EOD
75mgs Fina EOD
Arimdex .5 ED

Diet
1.5-2 grams of protein per pound
Carbs 50-100 Postworkout,
Fat High, 10-20 per meal

Sample
9amBreakfast 2 scoops whey, 4 whole eggs
11amPost workout 3 scoops whey, 1 gatorade, or candy
1pm 1/2 lb Steak, Veggies
3pm 3 scoops whey, 1 scoop Oil
6pm Steak, Veggies,
9pm 3 scoops whey 1 scoop oil

I believe in Palumbo diet theorys of High protein and moderat fats...with low carbs all week long..then a heavy carb up on the weekend...

I think any type of cycle will do you good, as long as your diet is good for the goals your going after...

Arimadex at .5 mg EOD or ED will help...

I've read your article Big A. Sounds very interesting.....I think I'm gonna try it out. I don't have time to follow it to every point but I think I will get good results anyway

Like vitor said, everyone has a different approach.

I've always done a mixed diet: first 6 weeks an old-school, high-carb/protein with no fat diet, then followed by a 6-8 week ketogenic diet where I carb up every other weekend.

My training is brought down a notch because in my reasoning, I'm already in a catabolic state from the diet, so I'm just trying to give my muscles enough stimuli not to atrophy.

It might surprise some people, but over 75% of the time I'm dieting, I'm using cyp, Eq, and dbol along with the requisite arimidex and/or nolvadex. Only in the last three weeks do I drop the test and dbol and switch to tren and winny. This works great, but you have to keep in mind you won't look as great in the mirror in the first few weeks because of possible water bloat. My reasoning is I don't care what I look like until I'm finished with the diet and am ready for a photo shoot or the stage.

Lastly, you feel tired from higher volume because your body is accustomed to HIT. It just takes a little time, and you can't expect to jump right in. Drop the weight a little, and work your way up in volume if that is what you want.

I don't know if you have the time but I think this could be very informative for many of us; How would you squeze the (strenght)workouts you outline into a 3 times a week split? And how would this effect the result in all?

I think only pros and people having a vacation has the time to do AM and PM training every day and cardio on top of that

It is a very time intensive program. But it's only for 9 weeks.

Somepeople that simply can't afford the time off, drop the morning workout and replace it with cardio and then they just do an evenin gworkout and that's it.
