Nerve impingement

My whole right upper body is smaller than my left. And I’m right side dominate. Over the years I’ve tried to move to almost all unilateral work but it seems to be slowly getting worse.

@DOGGCRAPP spoke about possible nerve impingement or innervation problems. What can be done to correct this? I don’t have pain anywhere, but getting a pump in my right side requires more sets and more work to match the left.

I have been looking into neufit electrical therapy to see if it would help, dusty was a big fan of it before him and dom pelosi went separate ways

It's good that you're not in pain! Get an MRI. My spine surgeon warned me that nerve damage can become permanent in a very short time!! One of my cervical surgeries, in 2018, freed up a nerve that was being impinged but my left bicep is flat. I've gained 85 to 90% of the strength back but the muscle isn't the same.

Good luck juggy, I hope you get it resolved soon!

So do you think going to my GP and asking for a cervical MRI best plan off the bat? Or like MRI of shoulder areas?

Or go to a PT and let him do the MRI referral?

Thanks Bio!

I have a PPO. I went straight to the spine specialist and he asked for the MRI. I would do it off the bat while you try other modalities. If there is a disc issue you'll know right away and from there you can set up a plan of attack.

Juggy, I'd be curious to see what you find out. My entire left side is smaller, including my left leg. I can really feel the imbalance when squatting. There isn't really a significant strength imbalance just an overall 'off' feeling. I can only deadlift once a month or so otherwise my (mostly left leg-sciatica?) leg goes numb for 2-4 days and I can barely grip a barbell for the same amount of time. It's gotten significantly worse the past 2-3 years but I've yet to see anyone.

I caused myself numerous low back issues w the powerlifting stuff but it always righted itself over time. But, now in my late 30's I'm feeling rather fucked...

Bio,

Is there a legit fix for nerve/disc issues if they've been neglected for a serious amount of time?

That’s how my right side is. Strength there, but the dumbbells and barbells feel “off”…like they do their own path.

And i almost think it has to be a large nerve. Chest, trap, delt, bicep/tricep all smaller and get less work per rep

It's hard to say. I don't think there's a definitive answer either way. A Spine doc would have to give you that kind of input based on your details and the imaging.

i have been paying renewed attention to nerve stuff do to some recent damage.

i have a lot of theories but nerve stuff is tricky with little real answers.

im drawing a blank right now on the name but there is a female dr who put her ms i think into remission with diet and sups. i came accross her years ago and felt like she had been reading animals sight as she was doing very similar stuff.

whal! terry wall or something like. there was a reason more recently i looked it up and she has become very comercialized with it all but looks like some managment company pushing to capitolize on what she did.

if you want to look for a good overview of supplement and diet ideas this is one place that i think there is some good info in pretty condensed form.

diet is supper important. i cant str5ess this enough. bio if i remember right you have auto immune issues too.
its work but, eliminated processed sugars and flours and basically anything not grown really helps.

sups
you asked about sod and glut i feel they are super key but sod is an issue.
zinc, mag, are essential. ppc shows a lot of promise. idebenone is great too particularly as it targets mitochondria. what where you source it from though, most is shit. ala, r-ala. res, curc and ptero show a lot of promis but i have not found anythign that comes close the injects from before. nicinamide and the other version of it too nad+ but again delivery of that seems to be an issue.

there seem to be a bunch of high end clinics popping up to do iv drips with much of this. its interesting but im not 100% sold on that method. i think in reality im may be better but more problematic to the user.

Yes, Ankylosing Spondylitis. I've used Humira (Biologic) in the past but I currently use Cocentyx (Biologic) for it. I've gone without the medication for a period of time and it's scary what I've become without it!

look into that dr i mentioned bro.
i use that as an example as its good info pretty condensed with proof that sups diet and activity can reverse very serious conditions.

much more valid for most then lk3 said. lol
all the best brotha!
