I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone here at professional muscle, I came upon it when checking out the reference section at alin's site. I have never used AAS and plan to do my first cycle in the next few months so I am incredibly happy to have found both alin and professional muscle.
A little about me:
I'm 23 will be 24 in July
Have been training off and on since about age 13 whe I started lifting for maritial arts. The last 3 years have been brutal, I trained about 6 months in 04' and about 6 months in 05'. Well I'm proud to say that I have not missed a workout or meal since just before the beginning of this year. I'm coming up on 5 months back training, eating, etc... and here is where I'm at:
6'2"
262.5lbs this morning down from about 280 since started dieting in mid Feb.
I had a good change in Body Comp with muscle memory giving me some great gains while still being able to diet. I started at about 18-22% BF and am now down to 14-18% (I need to get to a skilled "pincher" to clarify this)
My best BP performance since coming back is 320X3
My best DL performance since coming back is 435X5 (I've only DL'd 4 times, just started back with those in mid-march)
My best clean and strict press (not jerk!) perfomance is 205X6
In my mind these lifts are barely scratching the surface of what I believe I am genetically capable of, they aren't impressive yet but they will be by year end!
Everything is coming along well, I plan on cutting until I am down to 8-9% BF. I have never been in the single digits and want it more than anything I can explain in words. I will post some pathetic before pics from February if anyone is interested along with some after pics when I do finally eclipse single digits. I want to get lean enough so I can assess my physique with the help of members here and decide whether I am going to pursue Bodybuilding, powerlifting, or both!
My most important question is:
In your esteemed opinions, would it be productive for me to do my first AAS cycle in the next few months or after I have been back to training for a longer period of time??? Is my age a pos/neg factor???
ANY INPUT WOULD BE GREATLY APRRECIATED!!!
Thank you!
