Not sure what to make of it. It's a really small study. You only live once IMO, live big....

Well, basically they are saying that a recent study has connected steroid use with kidney damage.

I read the article...I think it's very very possible that the ability to get this disease is just prevalent in everyone but since as bodybuilders we stress our kidney's in one way or another and as such it would fully manifest itself much more often in our population.
ALOT more research needs to be done before any conclusions are made.

Be honest with yourselves folks: it's not unreasonable to think that steroids could contribute to kidney damage (most likely oral AAS). I'm not surprised to read this. I'll continue taking my dbol and superdrol for a few more years though.

when the group that is being studied is only comprised of 10 people, then it is quite easy for whoever is conducting the study to pick and choose the people to support what they are looking for. sometimes it is impossible for researchers to find a large enough population for doing the study (ie they are studying a very rare disease) but it's pretty obvious that they could find more than 10 steroid users to do a study on.
