What? You must be reading something else entirely, all that article talked about was the cognitive affects.
And nowhere does it ever say there was no effect from exemestane. They only state that the effect from tamoxifen is more "statistically significant".
Statistically insignificant is generally considered no effect. So you're splitting hairs.
You contradict yourself, "our endocrine systems are far apart" yet "it wouldn't matter if you put the drug into a man or woman".
I am sorry I didn't make this easier for you to understand.
1. Nolva significantly reduces cognitive function
2. Exemestane does not significantly reduce cognitive function
3. Both reduce estrogen levels.
Therefore is may not be the estrogen levels that cause the effect. The effect appears to be the drug itself acting on the brain. So if the study indicates the loss has nothing to do with endocrine function but rather it is just an effect of the drug on the brain, it wouldn't matter that our endocrine systems are so much different. Because that's not the cause.
Are you sure that YOU know what the purpose of a SERMs agent really is? Our endocrine systems ARE very far apart. Thats the whole point.
Actually you missed the point. I hope it's clearer now.
