I am going to be going with the wife and kids(ages 2 and 5) to Myrtle Beach for a week in June/July. I am trying to rent a condo/timeshare on the ocean for a week and have a small list of places I have narrowed it down to but have never been there so am looking for some feedback from people that know the area real well and can also help me locate a place to train that is nearby the accomodations. The places I am considering are Island Vista, Kingston Plantation(Royale Palms or Margate Towers), Anderson Ocean Club, Island Vista, and Marriot Oceantwatch Villas.
If anybody is familiar with these places please let me know which one you would choose and what gym is nearby(if any). Price is not really a concern, looking for the most upscale place that is oceanfront and has things to keep the kids happy too.
I have a membership at Gold's and there is a Gold's in Myrtle Beach but it looks like it is more inland and a bit of a drive from ocean.
