Like a few said- I leave em out till they get to room temp, if they r cool it makes meat tougher...
On the grill I like ribeye with minimal sea salt and cracked black pepper usually..rare...sometimes w mushrooms...
When I've lived in condos, or raining, sometimes ill do it seared in a pan, and at the end add a quarter stick of butter or so, tilt the pan, and spoon it from the bottom of the pan over the meat for a minute or 2...
