O/T:Tiesto NYE Vegas

Hey everyone, just wanted to see if anyone here is going to NYE with Tiesto at the Orleans Arena. I just got some tickets for this event from a client I have been doing some work for, should be really fun. I am going to go with my fiance, we are just going down for the night. I have never been to a big event like this, supposedly it is a six hour set, so I am not sure what to expect. Someone fill me in if you can thanks.

First of all I am seriously jealous, I couldn't find a cheap ticket and with hotel it would have been too expensive as a friend of mine (hot girl) were trying to meet up out there and hang out and go to the show NYE, instead she is flying up to Chicago where we are going to Crobar should still be an awsome time. Anyways, I am assuming you like dance music if so it is going to be awsome!! I have heard his live sets are spectacular, plan on drinking a lot of redbull and vodkas (And any other "toys" that you might like to play with, just be careful bro )

I am a club person and really like club music. Have a couple friends who DJ, so I have gone to some events and seen Tiesto a couple of times. He definitely brings alot of energy. The only downside sometimes is you find yourself around a bunch of ravers. One thing for sure is when I am around them they hate "meatheads". I always find it funny how they react to me (and I am not even a really jacked guy) at first and then once my friend who DJs introduces me then they will be cool and say how nice of a guy I was. I am sure in Vegas the crowd will be great.

I went to see him a couple years ago at the House of Blues, amazing show. This one is expected to be around 3x larger so I'm sure it will be good. My buddy that lives out in Henderson is still calling me daily, trying to convince me to break my plans here and head out there. :st:r-wars

yeah i have to agree im feeling a little jealousy. im going to try and make it down to ultrafest if they have it this year. last year is was in south beach, me and my girl and wanting to go this year so hopefully they are having it, anyone heard anything about it??

btw, bulldog, i wanted to let you know i got a table. ended up getting a Tech. 1200mk2. i should have another one here shortly, im just looking around for another good used one. if i cant find one then im just gong to purchase a new one.. , merry chrstimas to ME.. hhaha

Ok here is another question. I am not sure I can even ask this on the board, if you need to erase this thats cool. What am I going to do during a six hour set, I know I am going to get tired from all the moving. Do you have to be rolling to dig this for six hours My fiance likes to roll like once a year, I have been with her once when she has done it, it was fun and the sex was amazing. She was amazing.
It sounds like alot of fun to me, my fiance is really into this type of thing, going to these huge parties, I am still a newbie when it comes to this stuff. I am going to have to thank the client with a fruit basket, the tickets were expensive, I checked it out online and they are like 150 a piece. If anyone wants to meet up, LMK, it would be nice to meet some bros from the board.

i saw Tiesto play in Ibiza at his weekly summer residancy at Amnesia.

I have never had a better night out. He is simply awesome. Best DJ in the world.

Mike hear ya about some people looking at yea like you an alien but most the time when they find out your not gonna kill um they warm up pretty fast except the little 3 foot asians from cali that seem to hate you no matter what.

Just drink and you'll be good. He doesn't spin for the entire 6 hours, there are other DJs that open for him that will probably take up half that time. If I were you I'd wait a bit and then start drinking and that will keep a nice buzz going. Speaking from the experience of having rolled a few times myself, many years ago, I don't think it's worth it. That shit is seriously terrible for your brain. You'll do fine without it. Time flies when you're at a big show like that.

It is up to you Call I mean if you roll once a year then you obviously aren't hardcore partiers but enjoy a little fun every once in awhile, then I say go for it it will make the experience all the better IMO. Besides you said the sex was great on it, well you are bringing in the new year.....

But then again I used to "partake" every weekend for years in row so I know where Tone is coming from when he says it is not worth it too, I think that is what is wrong with me now, j/k! LOL!!

Tiesto puts on a awesome set. The whole rolling thing is not bad if only done once in a blue moon. You will destroy more brain cells if you get plastered on boo's. Just go and enjoy the show and play the cards on how they fall. Tiesto is solid. My ultimate preference is hard house, for instance Bad Boy Bill!!!

Damn I have a house in Vegas

but stuck in Honolulu for new years eve. Bro, my wife and her super hot freinds are all into kicking it upa notch at events like that. Nothing more sexy than a bunch of hot chicks having a good time dancing and feeling nothing but love! So long as you get the real deal once in a great while you should be fine. Just stay really hydrated (drinking wter) especially if you like to dance. Six hours will fly by if its all good. I can feel the beats just talking about it! Man I am bummed, thanks bro.

I from the NYC area and had been at it for the last 8 years with this whole music culture. Anways pretty dead over here the last 3 years. Its about the music and having a good time with your frineds. Don't worry about rollin or any of that. Pop a few OTC fat burners if you want, that will keep you awake.
