U.S. upset Spain and now they have a chance to prove themselves to the rest of the world that it was no fluke...They need to beat Brazil today.

I realize there's a much smaller world of Soccer/futbol fans in the U.S. but it's always been a big deal for me....Played since I could walk and was a CA state Champ at 16 yrs. old. Love it...

Brazil showed their true experience and skill. The U.S. capatalized to score those few in the begining but.........Ahhhhhhhhhh, I know it sucks to lose after being up by two espeacially...But U.S. did beat Spain and make it to the finals so let's give them that. Gives the U.S. just that much more experience though.

Too bad for the US but as far as I'm concerned the loss of Italy at an early stage and especially the way Brazil humiliated them 3 - 0 was enough to make me satisfied...

World champions??? What a robbery that last 2007 World Cup in Germany was... all they were good at was to piss that poor Zinedine Zidane off... Italians can truly thank Materrazzi's comedian talent...

US has lots of heart but for pure talent its just not there, we have a hard time controlling the bar and even stringing 3 or 4 passes together. The long ball offense we run is horrendous and we are only going to get "lucky" wins rarely against the top teams.

Great effort, but watching that second half it wasn't a matter of IF it was a matter of WHEN Brasil was going to comeback! Kinda painful to watch because it would have been such a landmark in US Soccer.

On a side note, the 3rd place game was absolutely insane and what an ending...............South Africa as well as the US is proving to be a team to look out for in next years CUP.

Haha! That was kind of awesome in a way....I've felt the way Zinedine Zidane did at many times in life...However, I've only reacted identically once in my life, thank god.
