after reading through a few recent threads i thought i would put up alittle info about oral steroids. im not going to tell anyone the right way to use them so if thats what your looking for please stop reading and move on. my point here is to give you an idea of how they actually go about harming your body when abused. hopefully after reading youll be able to make a better decision on how, when , how long, and weather or not to use them.
Most if not all oral steroids are 17-aa. i cant spell that out so dont ask me to...lol... but what does that mean to your body? well it means its liver toxic. heres basically what happens. you swallow some anadrol. the pill hits your stomach where its submerged in a bath of hydrochloric acid. now thats a serious problem if you want that chemical to make it into your blood without being destroyed by the digestion process. so to make sure it gets into the blood the chemical is altered. well why is that such a big deal? after your stomach has at it it takes a little trip over to your liver. to get this chemical into you blood it needs to be processed by your liver. your liver didnt evolve to process chemicals like this so its verry taxing. its taxing the same way that alcohol is, for all intensive purposes.
so think about it this way. if you have a couple of beers a week it will never hurt your body, but if you drink a case a day your going to die from liver failure. same thing with orals, reasonable useage is fine, but its best not to press your luck and force your body to do something it wasnt designed for for extended periods of time.
hopefully for some people it doesnt get any simpler than that. if you need further clarification post your questions.
