I'm one! Cut way back on them, less than 1 a week, but i was into them big time, traded and collected them, at one point i had 2 120qt igloo coolers (converted into humidors) packed slam full. Last night i attempted to smoke a Cohiba Sublime (the real kind) but it was sooo poorly constructed it chunked it about 1/3 through (pissed me off, that was not a cheap or easy to come by cigar, it was a EL 2004). My favorites are aged Opus X, Fuente Anejo, God of Fire, Don Carlos Edicion De Aniversario, and my daughter is claiming my laptop or i'd go on...:D

I smoke a cigar once in a while. Nothing too fancy. Maybe a Punch or H Upmann as a treat.

Hoyo de Monterrey-Excaliber, Arturo Fuente, Partagas 150 (haven't had one of those in a long time!), Padron, Macanudo...:D Used to be really into them several years ago, but now only on special occasions.

I smoke cigars. My everyday brand is perdomo, gurkha and padron that fills most of my humidor

top self cigars that i smoke for special occassion is fuente signature series, opus x, anjeo, Partagas 160 and montecristo #2 white.

Enjoyed a Trinidad Churchill yesterday with a few glasses of Glenkinchie 10 year single Malt Scotch. Some that pair very well with Fine cigars are Lagavulin, Oban, Laphroig 15, Bowmore 12, I could go on forever:D.

no shit

wow, what a coincidence I see this thread, just finished a Gurkha myself. I've had many different brands of cigars, and the one thing I've found is expensive doesn't always mean good, because I've had some $5 smokes that have blown away $10 ones before. A few of my favorites would be "The Edge" by Rocky Patel, Avo Uvesian (orange ring, cant remember the #) and 5 Vegas or Indian Tobacc. You guys should go to cigarsinternational.com. they have the best deals around and always have specials, they come air tight and fresh every order.

i love getting them from there. great prices fast shipping. I get all my Perdomo lables there even scored som fresh 50 wheels of perdomo i love the 5 pack samplers.

i agree with that statment. i have smoke some cheap sticks that shocked me. i live in ny so i go to the nat sherman store alot and his smokes are pretty good. the Suave torpedos are good.

Sorry...........don't want to offend anyone. Cigars stink like fucking shit................Don't care what you smoke. Cigars have to be one of the most offensive smells on the planet. I can't stand them.

i got a rocky patel renaissance thats bout to get smoked :D

I smoke maybe two a year. At a few top end steak-house type restaraunts in town, they stock a few behind the bar for late night. We have no-smoking laws, thankfully, however late at night at some high end establishments you can imbibe.

ahh yes,the sweet aroma of a nice Partagas maduro after dinner or a light Monte Cristo especial no.1.i once worked for one of the biggest cigar importers in the U.S. and beleive it or not,at least 75% of the cigars from either Nicaragua,Dominican Rep,Honduras,etc.. all come from the same tobacco farms.just different labels.i used to piss in my pants watching these "yuppie" kids come in and buy a $100 Fuente and tried to tell them if i changed the labels with a regular Cohiba they'd never tell the difference.i just ordered some vintage Romeo y Julieta maduros and a few Partagas naturales.i love the Dominican tobacco.smoother than the others with the exception of Macanudo, which are Jamaican.

So I am gonna assume you don't smoke them and have nothing psositive to add to this thread? (not being an asshole but i feel the same way about cigarette smokers but it's not called for here so I won't get into it)

I myself smoke cigars and have stuck with Fuente for years. It's hard to go wrong with any of their line. Churchhill size for me in all the cigars I smoke. Once in a while I'll try a B.S. brand so I won't smoke all my good stuff, lol I have a few cuban delites in my box right now. Along with a ton of different Honduran brands. My S-I-L is Honduran and her family sends me and my brother a bunch from time to time. Those I give away as gifts. LOL

Im surprised no one said anything about greycliff. a personal favorite. Another great smoke is Kristoff. I also enjoy Rocky Patel, but that could have something to do with the fact that I went on a trip to his Honduras factory. Incredible trip, got to see nestor's farms, and of course smoked some beautiful cigars every night. Rocky is by far the most gracious man in the cigar business, not to mention the hardest working.

Avo Uvezian is also a dear family friend. My father was recently at his 82nd birthday bash. A bit of info you may enjoy knowing. Avo did not get into cigars until his 50's. Prior to cigars he was infact a jazz pianist and songwriter. He was the composer "Strangers in the night". He toured the world with Frank Sinatra composing musig and playing the piano.

He does not own Avo cigars any longer, but sold it to Zino Davidoff. He does still play a huge role in selecting blends for Davidoff. I imagine he will always have something to do with Avo cigars as long as he is able.

Enjoy

I do not really some anything any longer. I used to smoke a pipe years ago as well as cigars. Now if I have them I only chew on them and the ones I use are harsh parodi's or avanti's. I still have half a cuban sitting on the shelf in the garage from like two years ago.

AVO, good call, great cigar but a little too pricey for me. Also BUTERA's damn good cigar but again a litle too pricey if you are a daily cigar smoker. If you enjoy one or two a week, then these two are delicious. :D
An everyday good smoke would be a nice CAO gold.

Oh yeah, i change gears w/ the Padron 1926 and 64's, i have 2 Padron Millennium maduros left, and 2 boxes of 80th Aniv. i haven't opened yet, been sitting on them almost 1.5yrs. Never been a fan of tat's, but i have some tat blacks that are pretty good!

And someone said they worked for a cigar mfgr and most come out of the same factory? Not true, although General Cigar owns alot of different brands, and they're made in the same factory sometimes, but use different blends, wrappers, etc for the different brands. Fuente does little to no 'factory sharing', they still have waaaay more demand than supply. And yes, you mix up some 'signature' Fuentes in some partagas and cohiba domestics, and i'll pick 'em out every time.
