Talented yes, but I'm not a fan of these 'child prodigies'.
Let the boy have a fun & happy childhood. No need to force him to practice hours each day from parents hoping he will make them rich.
Usually from parents who couldn't make it themselves trying to live through their children.
Not saying this is the case, but I doubt the boy has his say in how much he plays & the decision to go out and play with friends or to be made to have piano practice.
Not sure how true it is, but during the interview on NPR he was asked how much / how often he practiced.
His reply was "well you're going to think this is really, really weird, but some days I don't practice at all. I actually do most of my practicing in my sleep".

Then in the corner of the camera you see his parents pretending to strangle him if he tells the truth... lol
There is also a really young kid who can really play the guitar. This reminded me of him. He plays really well then when he tries to sing it just ruins it lol.
Its cool to know someone else listens to NPR but myself
The Diane Rehm show has the best guests and I find her topics very interesting. I heard Fugazi being interviewed a long time ago and I was just shocked. NPR is good stuff.
