OT old newspaper arrest articles how to find?? anyone?

Does anyone know of any good sites in which i can pull up info on a arrest from years back. Any criminal news sites or anything like that that i could find a article containing info on a convicted rapist? Im trying to help someone find some info on a family member of theirs. Thanks

done that not finding the info im looking for. I did find the old articles but the New York Daily News wants you to pay over $100 per article or paper or some shit rediculous. Im sure theres another way.

the county.org
For example www.greenecounty.org
you might try the county your person is-was living in and do a search from there. goodluck and take care

Go to the library in the town in question and go and look throught the papers. I can't think of what they call it at the moment, but they put all the old papers on a disk of sorts and you can look through a machine and see the articles. As far as finding out through the net I'm not sure. I know that they used to have to put there names on the net if they were convicted in a sexual crime, like a sexual predators list. But it's been so back'n fourth lately the past few years I'm not sure the rules anymore. I've never really tried to find someone through the net. sorry
