Phlojel is a hydrophilic (like DMSO - without the stink or "taste") made by JAR in Canada. It is a trade name for a Plogel product. It is suppose to be be slightly more effective than regular Plogel. They also make a Phlojel Plus, but I have yet to locate a source for just the kit (can be found with drugs already mixed in).
Consider plogel as the "next generation" DMSO. Does the same thing but without the garlic stink and breath/taste.
A Phlojel "kit" has two components (480ml kit used as example): 120ml Organic and 380 Hydrophylic. At room temperature, the Hydrophilic is a thick "gel." Put it in the refrigerator and it becomes a very fluid liquid.
The instructions state to disperse 10.1 grams with 70ml alcohol. This mixture is then mixed with the 120ml Organic until uniformly dispersed or dissolved. When I mixed my 10g of Yohimbine HCL, I failed to properly read instructions. I placed the Yo directly into the Organic and let it sit overnight. Almost all of was absorbed in the Organic. I just vigorously shook the Organic before mixing it with the Hydrophilic. You'll want to gradually incorporate the Organic into the Hydrophillic (that was previously stored in refer so it's now a liquid) wuth vigorous trituration until gel is formed.
Then store at room temperature.
