So work out each body part 3x per week?
And you struck my curiousity; I e been reading a lot lately about high volume for growth, and you only recommend 5reps per set.... Can you please explain why?

There terms "volume", "frequency", and "intensity" have specific meanings in strength training / bodybuilding. Programs are designed based on a specific objective. These three main variables are controlled with this objective in mind.

You'll need to do some basic research to understand more. Your question is beyond a simple forum post.
 
i like to keep it simple

your work out is not as important as nutrition and supplements. i describe it as you only need to work out 30-60 minutes but you have to eat every couple hours and the supps are active in you 24 hrs so those 2 things will have biggest impact imo.

i wouldn't take the 5 reps per set as gospel. but it could definitely spark growth and metabolism. if heavy enough that would be some INTENSE sets.

many moons ago i was in your shoes (bout same size and height) and i did my first "contest prep" style diet and i ended up SMALL lol. way diff than i thought i would be. BUT i did a couple things wrong. next show i did things right and it was dramatically different.

He's saying you're putting the cart before the horse and don't have much of a foundation. The advice is to basically approach this as a complete beginner to the weights and build some muscle before worrying about cutting to look good at the beach.
