Powder question

I brewed up a few batches and noticed that mg per mg my homebrew just does not have the same "kick" as some pharm products Ive used.Im having to use about double the amount for the same results HONESTLY ,have you home brewers noticed this?The powders I got WERE NOT FROM THIS SITE ,so there is always a posability they were low quality or cut.Any feedback would be great.Thank you

it sounds like they were cut or poor quality, like you said. could you have possibly made a mistake when calculating how much powder/oil/ba/bb to use? what did you make?

A lot of times, the "kick" people talk about comes from the BA content of commerical products. Some products like IPs can contain up to 5%+++ BA, some UG labs more, which is a huge amount and WILL give you that "painful" kick. However, during the process of making the product, some researchers tend to overheat their solution, thereby making the product less effective, especially if you go way above the melting point.

Ag ,thank you for the feedback ,but I ment "kick" as in the potency of the hormone ,not the pain level.I dont use heat (except for when Im ready to inject the marinade into the turkey ,I warm it up in the microwave for 20 seconds)Im gonna try some different "brands"of powders ,hopefully they will be a little stronger.FLEXMASTER ,made eq 400mg/ml ,cyp 250 mg/ml ,some winny,drol.Used the powder calc for the numbers, plus im not completely retarded so im sure the percentages were correct.EQ was dark liquid upon arrival(stunk),Cyp was off white just barely clumpy , it melted about 110 degrees feriheit(sp)(smelled and looked like melted plastic after it melted)Burnt the shit out of my finger like melted plastic too,Now the winny and drol both melted about 50 degrees lower than they were supposed to(acording to the info I was givin)Both were Very fine powder and neither tasted like anything.All products seem to contain some of the real thing ,but I have made better gains off of 2testovirons a week than I am off of a boatload of this stuff(training and diet are on target)Ill prolly just dump the rest of the unconverted ,when I get some more reliable product.A powder forum would be a great.

As Flexmaster stated you must have some bunk powder. I've used Leo who is on this site w/ alot of success. I grow as well on my homebrew as other gear w/ less bite because of the ba levels.

I really don't know for sure, but I thought cyp had a MUCH higher melting point. If it was "clumpy" it sounds like it was enanthate, which has a relatively low melting point. I once had a source sell me enanthate instead of Base.

Now cyp vs. enanthate is really no big deal other than I think it's harder to "work with" enanthate (my opinion). But - if they did this, what else would they stoop to?!?!
