Thx for confirming what I’ve heard. Above 80lbs Iron Master.I have an older set with the Big Block extenstion which provide 82.5 to 130lbs. Different attachment system and no longer the smooth 5 (or 2.5) pound jumps but solid enough. I'm not a big dumbbell guy so they are secondary for me. If I was pushing weight and more into dumbbells then IronMaster with the extension kits are better there (no where as convenient for 80 and below though. Choose one or better is to own both!
Don't get me wrong. I live my PBS and for me I wouldn't trade them (DB work is an afterthought - very very heavy user of barbells). That said others have different needs and I don't mind the attachment when I do need heavy dbs. What I will say is that the opinion that I'm dominates for heavy movement 80-165lbs is universally held by serious lifters who have used or owned both. It's valid and stamped not just by me.Thx for confirming what I’ve heard. Above 80lbs Iron Master.
^^^hey brother ..no i don't find them awkward at allAre the Power Block Dumbbells awkward and unnatural when using the 120 extensions?
Particularly in the bench and incline presses.
