I finally have enough space in my garage and basement to start planning out a home gym. Has anyone here used one of these power racks that you can add all these crazy attachments to?

Looking for pros and cons

if I had one of these and a set of dumbbells id be able to do 90% of my training at home.

right now I'm an looking at some from Rep Fitness. Sorinex, Rogue, and Elite FTS are nice too but a little more expensive.

I went with the Titan X-3. It’s a solid rack and I have a bunch of attachments for it as well. Just bought the Rep AB-5100 bench. The gap between the pads was much larger than expected. I thought it was gonna be an issue for me, but it hasn’t caused me any issues.

Shopping for the right stuff. Metric rack (made in China) attachments aren't always compatible with US made so good to know mixing racks and attachments may not work.

I like having plate storage on the rack.

Not sure what else you'd like to know?

I ordered elite fts2 3 weeks ago .
I'll most likely get nuobell dumb bells 5 to 80 lbs.

Just make sure you get 3x3x1 and u can build from there all attachments for the big players will work with your rack.

I looked at USA force racks also but they was 2x2 is why I didn't go with them .

Texas bull may be a place to look also .

But Titian is the cheapest of the big boy racks out there

Thanks, good to know.

do you find that you're able train everything the way you'd like to or are you having to supplement some movements with a gym membership?

505 exercises .
Now learning to set them all up takes some time
I can get a better workout cause I can super set and drop set without other people in the way

If post YouTube video but I don't know how too lol .

Go check them out .

John is a great guy

It's a big investment true but with me and the old lady doing the gym it cost me $1000 a year .

Then all them kids and people that don't really work was in the damn way all the time

If you have time, would you mind sharing the details of your build? I see their racks on the site but im not seeing where you can combine the selectorized plates and cables.

Tsp2 and tsp has cables and Smith machine built in them already bro

This was my ‘home gym’ set-up.

Don’t recall how many garages and backyards it resided in but it was a bunch.

It is still in a ‘friends’ garage but he won’t let me near it, don’t ask, even during COVID when I had no place to train.

Probably bought it in 1975 . . . yes, that long ago, probably before most of ya were born 🤔. I had that and a 330lb York Olympic barbell, a adjustable bench and db’s. It was built like a tank, by a industrial arts teacher in Healdsburg, a few miles from where I live.

Made the best gains ever when it was in my life.

Look at the prices, just insane.

Lots of really good memories associated with this. Probably used it for 35 years, that and a few accessories I purchased and built along the way.

Not a power rack, just a share.

Wow I wish we were paying those prices today!
