I'm very fascinated by the old school wrestling scene and some of the powerhouses that were around, it is one of the reasons I first started lifting. I've posted before about the Legion of Doom, but check out one of the other top tag teams from that era, Powers of Pain. To my knowledge Warlord still wrestles and is still huge, he was working security for 50 cent on one of his tours a while ago and in general.

yeah he's huuuuge. there is a tribute to him on youtube, man he is a HOUSE. he's got the powerbuild. everyone back then says he was as strong as a bulllll

I saw the tribute on youtube, it was awesome, he was a monster. I could only imagine his training and eating. From what I hear, all those guys were just eating a ton of food back then.

I wonder how he is still maintaining that body, he still looks big as hell.

It is amazing how many old school wrestlers had bodybuilderlike physiques ahead of their time

yeah i know, i always thought that. seems like the guys were a lotttt bigger in the 80's... some true genetic freaks the wwf had

I love the old school wrestlers, thats the reason I order the wwe 24/7 on demand. My favorite of all time was Nikita Kolof, the russian nightmare. He was a big man and very powerful. I seen the warlord a few years ago, he did a show with an organization called the JCW. He was big as ever too, but a rather nice guy to meet. I legion of doom were awesome as well, too bad hawk passed away.

Warlord was a big mofo and strong. Barbarian was no sucker either. I saw them repping on the bench against Hawk and Animal of the Road Warriors it was like 525lbs or someshit. There is a youtube video of it.

Other wrestlers like Paul Orndorf, Billy Graham and Hercules were pretty jacked up.

Same with Don Morocco later on and Dino Bravo who says he can bench 700lbs raw. There might be a vid of that I don't know.

Ofcourse the Ultimate Warrior was insane. Rick Rude has a nice light weight body. Lex Luger who had a bodybuilding background was ripped up too.

my buddy wrestled him about 3 or 4 yrs ago and said that the warlod didnt need any help from him to power bomb him.btw my buddy is about 280.

Dude dont forget sid ,that fool had crazy traps.
he said he would do two a a days.and that he would run through training partners like underwear.

road warrior animal said they would do shrugs for reps with 900!!!!

Remember ken Patera talk about strong! first man to military 500 lbs i believe. And yes Dino Bravo had a bench press record at one time.He was murdered a few years ago in Canada execution style.Tony Atlas had some arms.

Many, many wrestlers had bodybuilding backgrounds. The Great one, Superstar Billy Graham set the stage for all to follow.

Superstar Billy Graham
Tony Atlas
Kerry Von Erich
Big Poppa Pump

I could go on and on

Here is a throwback for ya: Get ready to laugh..

I stay glued to the INDIES. WWE and TNA sux!! ROH is the leader right now. You have IWA Mid South, CZA still going strong. AAA in Mexico eats WWE and TNA alive and Dragon Gate. I go and watch 1 or 2 INDIE shows every week here in Chicago, mainly WCPW: This is where Fallen Angel and CM Punk started or out to IWA in Joilet; Ian Rotten runs shows out there. Too many super incredible wrestlers on the INDY scene to list.

Fave wrestlers you never heard of unless you are a true wrestling fan:

1: Teddy Hart
2: Jack Evans
3: Homicide
4: Jay Lethal before he jumped to TNA
5: Austin Aries
6: Low Ki : He is with WWE Developement now
7: Austin Roberts
8: Steve Boz
9: Jerry Lynn
10:MDogg20

I can add more but hey.. Here is my boy MDOGG20 enjoi:
