ANYONE TAKLE THIS?.. WHAT HAVE YOU EXPERIENCED SIDE EFFECT WISE..?

I use it for hairloss because my insurance covers it under Proscar(finasteride). If you bought Propeia(finasteride) alot would not cover it.

loss of libido! Is what I have experienced.

Taken it for a few years cause its cheaper than procepia, I just use a pill cutter to cut into quarters. No sides for me.

I expereinced gyno from it. I kept taking it after the cycle and started
developing gyno. Did a little research and found that it can cause it
unless you take anti-estrogen (adex) .

Proscar IS for the prostate, but it's the same drug (finasteride) as Propecia, which is to help prevent Male Pattern Baldness (MPB). Proscar is a 5mg tablet and Propecia is a 1mg tablet. The cost is substantially more for the lower dose Propecia, so many people use the Proscar pill instead. By cutting it into equal 1/5 doses, you can use it the same way they would use Propecia, only it's cheaper.

Avodart is ALSO a prostate drug. It is called Dutasteride. It is more powerful than Finasteride at blocking DHT. Dutasteride blocks more of the conversion of Testosterone into DHT through 2 pathways (hence the name DUal-tasteride). Although Finasteride is slightly weaker than Dutasteride, it is the ONLY FDA approved internal medication prescribed to treat MPB. Of course many people are also using Dutasteride as a MPB drug, although the jury is not in on it. Could be better, but have more sides. Time will tell, but it was dropped from Phase 3 trials for MPB. The phase 2 trials showed that it was more effective in all parameters, but not so much more effective as to warrant further research.

Great post. After reading this i know why it caused gyno for me.
I was taking too much of the shit. LOL (w-out anti) Damn and its
cheaper than i thought, if i get 5 days worth out of each tab. LOL

.. i am not too concerned about the hairloss part as i dont seem to suffer from it.. i have a beautiful lions mane lol.. i am more concerned about the prostate.. keeping it from enlargement ect..
