Question about an infection

I got my first infection in my leg like 3 weeks ago in my quad after a week i couldnt even walk so i went to the doc he gave me antibiotics. it all went away but there is still a little knot where it was its not red or anything and it doesnt hurt. Should i be worried? Just watch it?

could be an abcess, get it checked out.

he prescribed bactrim and keflex. Its slowly going away so ill give it a couple of days.

Sounds like your abcess didnt get real bad. When it gets bad, a lot of cell death occurs and you end up with an actual divet in your leg. A small depression where the cells all died. Thats permanent.
