Phil how many isolation exercises do you do?

My quess is zero but wanted to hear it straight from you..

Tough question also. My goal is to hit as many muscle fibers as possible each stroke, for that muscle of course. When you use the word isolation exercise, do you refer to an exercise that utilizes fewer fibers, say cable crossovers as opposed to bench presses? If you do, then I do not do any. All of my movements can be described as compound movements. I liken this to having a big bowl of rice to eat in a certain amount of time, and I have a choice between a spoon and a toothpick (or chopstick).
 
ill use a spoon everytime! hey phil, i deadlifted 495 for 8 during mondays back routine. should have slaped on 5lbs more to call if 500!. anyway thought id say hi. im going to compete again in july, have made alot of impovements

Hey if I could make a suggestion, see if Phil is still taking clients. He doesn't charge much and you will get his detailed info on training and diet. I paid him a nominal fee, talked to him a couple times and he answered all questions I had. Phil is a wealth of knowledge and you can not expect him to lay it all out for free (it's not fair to his clients). Phils advice has saved me countless wasted hours in the gym and I have basically been injury free since following his training advice.

of course when hitting biceps ....curls are used ,standing db,or barbell ,preachers etc (not concentration !!) and triceps those are good warm up exercises but dips ,close bench, frenchcurls, are more along the lines for the work sets
correct mystro?

i can also say.... injury's are just gone .. shoulder teninites etc , just gone with our style training at my age thats so important ... of course my hamstring injury last year before my show was brutal but cant really blame on training ,
