Question On finding Info on someone??

Im trying to help a friend find out About a bust (or possable bust) in Michigan....
Does anyone know where you could look to find out over the web?
I know some states and counties you can check Criminal history and court related issues thru a public website.
If anyone knows Id sure appreciate the help...It would help me solve an issue for a friend of a friend type of deal.

Have you tried just checking to see if the city has an online newspaper? Maybe you could get some info that way.

I havnt BBJ but good idea.
I think there more looking for a criminal history- court History type
of website... Ya know what I mean?
I know how to do it in my area But not sure about other states.
