Wondering what people think about the following things
EZ curl bars, 1 inch plates, olympic, hallow, solid, and tricep bars?
I bought the black golds gym combo bar (google it), hate it. It hurts my shoulder, the regular EZ curl bars are superior to this.
I have an olympic 2 inch, I see they are selling on facebook for 150$ lmao. I bought a standard bar for 40 and it feels just the same, maybe better, so I will sell the olympic one. The only reason I can think the olympic may be better if your much stronger than me and need more than 120lbs. The one I have is even hollow and looks fine.
Random observation, spinning ends are annoying, to have to spin that thing on every time you change plates, anyone's hate this?
Anyone use the standard straight bar for squats or anything? I see based on facebook I could sell my olympic for about 200$, no idea what they sell for In normal times.
Olympic plates were selling for about $1 a lb when gyms closed, now $3 a lb im seeing, extreme price gouging.
The price on benches however has stayed about the same.
I have never seen a tricep bar in a gym but I see them selling on facebook, doesn't look like anyone is buying them. Its jut as easy to hit triceps with an ez curl bar (extensions, skulls) so I see no reason why anyone invented this bar. I would rather use an EZ curl or just use a dumbbell for overhead tricep press.
