Raw oats in a blender...awesome.

Keep in mind that you are greatly increasing the glycemic index by blending the oats, not that it's not a good idea, I love adding oatmeal to my shakes.
 
I was reading this thread and decided to give one of these shakes a try. I mixed 2 cups lowfat milk, 1/2 cups oats, 2 tbs peanut butter, 1 banana and 2 scoops of muscle milk together. I was apprehensive at first but when I tried it, it was awesome. 900 calories and 60g protein. My new favorite drink!!!

I do this too but add 3 eggs to the mixture as well.. I ran out of muscle milk so i sometimes use protein powder or none at all and it still tastes fine.
 
for my breakfast. i 1/2 cups quick oats.bannana.2 scoops whey.1 scoop casein.yogurt lite(for)texture.an a bj
 
if eaten raw do they still digest ok?

if u don't grind them up r they still able to be digested?i"ve always just eaten them raw,but the coffee grinder sounds like a good idea
 
Just spotted these posts but I have been doing this for a while too...
Winter time I do a crazy blend, ice cream, 1/2c egg whites, 1/2c whole milk, banana, 1 scoop weight gainer (w waxy maize), 1 scoop Myofusion (best protein blend I have found), 2 tbsp pb, flax powder, 1/2c whole oats, 1/2c yogurt.

In around Feb when I cut calories back comes down to:
1/2c water, 1/2c egg whites, 1/2c oats, 2 scoops Myofusion, bluberries and flax powder. Still tastes great with Myofusion choc PB!

One of these has been breakfast for about 7 months now...love it. When feeling really lazy I pour some coffee and cinnamon in the blender too. haha. Not very good, but saves time and gets coffee done too!
