Recent Bloodwork 6 weeks post competition

Wouldnt my current use of GH@ 5iu ed cause the thyroud levels to be off?

Typically the pattern with GH usage is low-normal T4 and high-normal T3. So in your case I don't think it's due to GH use. Instead, i could be due to something like iodine deficiency.

How can IGF-1 be that low in 5iu?

My IGF-1 on 4iu of the old rips was 633

I was wondering this too?

Impaired hepatic expression of IGF-1 mediated primarily through inflammatory response such as his ulcerative colitis. It's the nature of beast with high levels of inflammatory cytokines ---Interleukin 1 beta (IL1ß).

5ius for individuals such as this gentleman won't have a equal parallel response to those whom aren't inflicted with inflammatory diseases.

Thanks Stewie. Any way around this? Or to improve IGF expression?

GB, have you ever tried BPC-157 for your colitis?

Ideally keeping the flair-ups at bay. Tho that's out of your control for the most part.

I have not. Is there evidence its helpful and if so what is the protocol? Thanks

Would administering exogenous igf-1 be helpful?

Just did some quick research on the use of bpc-157 for inflamatory bowel disease. Information looks very promising. I just ordered some four bottles of BPC-157 5mg and will start at 250 mcg ed. Ill update soon, thanks

As inflammation negatively impacts GHR functions and consequently lead to impaired IGF-1 levels, although GH levels are not reduced, the primary “inducer” in these patients must accordingly be the underlying inflammatory process. Thus, we propose that inflammation ultimately down regulates GH action via effect on the GHR or GH-induced intracellular signaling molecules and that targeting the inflammatory process is key for effectively treating these patients.

So am I wasting my money taking GH?

We have dozens if not hundreds of people doing GH and blood tests, what percentage is seeing IGF-1 levels in the range they should be?

No, you're benefiting from it, sort-of. Tho not reaching peak points on IGF-1 as in comparison to someone without an inflammatory disease.

I'd give the curcumin a run as it's a natural TNF-alpha inhibitor.

I'd suggest looking into supplementing with a sublingual DHEA as its been shown to be a immunological suppressant of TNF-alpha. This goes without saying we fall victim to immunosenescence and endocrinosenescence as we age.

What are you taking now for taming down your ulcerative colitis?

I'm not sure of your question?
