Just got some bloodwork back.. some concerning figures. Looking for input

AST - 147 (Normal range: 10 - 40 U/L)
ALT - 241 (Normal range: 0 - 47 U/L)

(bilirubin, Alkaline Phosphatase and AFP were in normal range)

Hematocrit 57.5 (Normal range: 39.0 - 51.0 %)

RBC 6 (Normal range: 4.10 - 5.70 M/uL)
Hgb 18.4 (Normal range: 13.0 - 17.0 g/dL)

currently on 200mg test e/week as i await my adenoma removal surgery

looks like i may also be needing a phlebotomy for the CBC issues

AST and ALT aren't surprising given the circumstances. Were you expecting them to be in range?

If you donate blood then stop - it often drives hematocrit higher over the long-term. You use a CPAP, you're on low doses, you're doing the right things to have it in range. Are these numbers pretty outside your usual values?

liver adenoma would cause these figures to be elevated?

never have

this is the highest they have ever been - even when on higher test and anadrol

You have something outside the norm going on with your liver so I would expect values to be outside the norm. I know nothing about adenomas, I'm just using logic here.

The blood values are more concerning knowing this is the highest ever. You have good medical connections right now - I'd use that to get a referral and get this looked into deeply to rule stuff out.

my platelets are within range though..

value: 295 Normal range: 140 - 400 K/uL

hmmmmmmm

Have you been dehydrated or were you on test day? Your liver values are concerning,(of course) the other stuff I'd see if you could get bloods in three months and see if anything has changed. Stuff is out of range but not crazy out of range. Are you taking any new medication for the adenoma? Also are these results a sudden change or have you been climbing?

GGT is a better test / indicator of true liver health. AST / ALT can be impacted by a lot of other things.
What is your testosterone level on 200mg per week?

If it was me I would get completely off for 8 weeks. Evaluate your levels after 8 weeks. Probably best course would be to TRT to normal range for a while and see where things shake out. I would say GH is out from here on. You are riddled with adenoma, blood is very thick and your liver enzymes are legitimately elevated. About 10 years ago I had a friend in same situation. He passed. just saying.

I would retest and make sure to be well hydrated. I had similar hematocrit and hemoglobin that went back to normal by drinking about 2L water the morning of the test

Good point

All the scans showed that my liver looked normal - aside from the adenoma

200mg puts me around 1100

I’m not on any new meds, no

These aren’t sudden change.. they have been climbing, but were lower than my test in February where my alt was over 300

The RBC panel isn't concerning since your platelet count is normal. Don't worry about that. Hydrate next time.

As far as the liver goes, I know absolutely nothing about liver adenomas, but it's too bad you didnt check GGT level

What @Shelby said on GGT.

I would personally be very shocked if your liver enzymes had been in range given what you have going on.

The other blood markers are not concerning IMO as others have said. Just stay hydrated.

Get through these issues, heal and then look at the enzymes once recovered. In layman’s terms those enzymes being elevated just means your liver is under stress- which it is.

Just hoping that the adenoma isn’t undergoing malignant transformation 😐

I got the ultrasound in early December and the biopsy a couple months later

I was on gh and moderate test and deca with orals the whole time

If that didn’t cause MT, I imagine I’m reasonably safe since I’ve been off all that since the diagnosis

But MT could just be a time thing iirc

Surgery is in 2 weeks

If you're trying to be max healthy right now (if it were me, I don't really know anything about you at all, goals, competing, etc.) I'd probably lower the test dose, maybe 150mg per week spread out over 2 shots.

You can have normal AST/ALT and have Cirrhosis; they can be elevated where there are no significant liver problems. My point: I wouldn't freak over these readings. What I would do is schedule time to talk with the Doc. I would also come off of anything liver toxic until you figure it out. Liver health is not a good topic left to Dr. Yahoo, Bro Science, and conjecture.
